The Galgebossen is a forest relict, a remnant of a forest that used to stretch out as far as Beselare and Watou but which disappeared between the 9th and 14th century. Home to a unique fauna and flora, this is a great area to explore nature. The trail passes the Hagle Dump Cemetery and partly follows the famous “Plankenroute”. Only available in Dutch.
